I’m an illustrator, writer and animation practitioner whose work is rooted in storytelling, character and visual atmosphere.
I’ve been drawing since childhood, and illustration has always been one of the ways I make sense of ideas, emotion and imagined worlds. My artwork includes limited edition prints, commissioned pieces, character-led illustration, and developing work for children’s books and illustrated poems.
I also have a PhD in Animation Practice and have worked across animation, film and visual storytelling for more than fifteen years, with experience including Aardman Animations, Rising Sun Pictures, December Media, and Adam Elliot’s stop-motion feature Memoir of a Snail.
Alongside illustration, I write for film, television and theatre. For me, the two forms often come from the same place: story, atmosphere, and the small details that make a world feel alive.
Limited edition prints and selected commissions are available by enquiry.

Writing
I’m also an award-winning writer for film, television and theatre, with work rooted in character, community and the quiet pressures people live under.
My writing and illustration often come from the same creative place: story, atmosphere and the small details that make a world feel alive.
