I’ve been drawing since picking up a crayon!
Drawing has always been the best way to communicate and develop my thoughts. I love that I can get lost in another world. I’ve been commissioned artist and I produce art work for sale. I’m currently developing a series of illustrated children’s books and illustrated poems.
I have a Phd in animation (Practice) and I’ve worked in the film industry for over 15 years, including Aardman Animations, Rising Sun Pictures, December Media and more recently on Adam Elliot’s stop-motion feature film ‘Memoir of a Snail’.
When I’m not illustrating, I write for film, TV and theatre.

Animation
Memoir of a Snail
I worked on the stop-motion animated feature film Memoir of a Snail (2024). It was directed by the Academy Award-winning Adam Elliot. The film won the Annecy Cristal for best feature, and made history by winning at the London Film Festival.
PhD Animation (Practice)

Writing
I am a published playwright and an award-winning film, TV, and writer. I am currently developing several projects. These include a musical, children’s picture books, and a series of short stories.

Daily Doodle
I try…
…to do a daily doodle. It doesn’t always happen. I’m either pushed for time (if writing) or working on a longer illustration.
Sometimes a daily doodle starts as a warmup but progresses and I’ve found myself working on it for a couple of days, or spread over a couple of weeks.
